As I stated in previous posts, it is difficult to find good gluten-free and wheat-free bread. In my quest to finding the perfect solution, I tried Dietary Specials Brown Multigrain Sliced Loaf. As wheat-free breads go, it wasn’t too bad. It definitely needs toasting. I tried it fresh, but found it really dry. Once it is toasted however, it tastes quite nice, and I liked the multigrain texture. The slices are tiny though! It’s actually quite difficult to get out of the toaster!! For the size of the slices too, 74 calories per slice seems very high. Available in most big supermarkets and health stores.
