For me Starbucks coffee is always a treat. Give me a soya latte any day and I’m happy! The odd time I get something sweet with it, but coffee shops can be hard to find a wheat-free treat. Starbucks do a Granola Bar. It is packed with oats, papaya, raisins, pecan nuts, sesame, sunflower & pumpkin seeds. It’s really quite delicious and very filling too. It’s perfect if you have skipped breakfast (though you shouldn’t really as it effects your metabolism!), as it is filled with oats which will give you sustained energy. Apart from it being made from oats, I like the fact that there are nuts and seeds, so you feel somewhat healthy even when you are having a bit of badness! Try this treat the next time you are getting your coffee fix.
