Crispbread from Delisenza (a German brand) were the toughest thing to eat that I’ve ever tried. I tried the Quinoa Crispbread as an alternative to a cracker. They certainly were crispbread, but so hard to bite, that I seriously thought I was going to break my teeth! Made from corn meal, sweet lupin flour, buckwheat flour, millet flour, corn starch, non-hydrogenated palm fat, puffed quinoa 4%, linseed 3%, thickener: guar flour, yeast, sea salt, emulsifier: E471. Also egg free, soja free, sesame free, nut free, lactose free, gluten free. By the ingredients, you’d think they’ve great potential in a wheat-free diet. Deli Senza have natural and emmental crackers in their range, but I don’t think I’m brave enough to try them.
You must be crackers!
