Gluten-free breadcrumbs!

Gluten-free breadcrumbs aren’t easy to get your hands on. I did find some though, Hale n’Hearty do great breadcrumbs that are versatile and easy to use. Hale n’Hearty make these delicious breadcrumbs by baking gluten free bread and then crumbing it, resulting in crisp, golden breadcrumbs ready to use. Made out of wholemeal rice flour, corn flour, organic vegetable oil, rice flour, guar gum, yeast, sea salt, sodium bicarbonate, and citric acid. I used them to make chicken kiev. Simply get your chicken breasts and butterfly them and fill with garlic butter, close over, then have a plate of beaten egg and a plate of breadcrumbs. Simply dip the chicken breast in the egg, then immediately roll in the breadcrumbs and they are ready to cook for 25mins in the oven. The breadcrumbs were tasty, crispy and I’d certainly use them again.

Hale and Hearty are great, aren't they? I like a lot of their products. Have some rice and quinoa pasta in the larder which I'm looking forward to knocking up with a rich tomato sauce.
