I had the pleasure of tasting 2 new Nestle products – Gluten Free Cornflakes and Gluten Free Honey Cornflakes. They honestly taste like the real thing! Which means they have the same great taste as cornflakes but just have no gluten! I found the honey ones very very sweet, the original were a lot nicer and tastier. They are crunchy, fresh tasting (a lot of gluten-free cereals can taste stale!) and I really liked them. Found in the main cereal aisle and a similar price point as traditional cereals. Nice to know we can buy something gluten free without paying gluten-free prices!! They include seven vitamins and minerals, including iron and vitamin D so are good to include as part of a balanced diet.
Each 30g serving has 115kcal and 0.3g fat, so good to know it isn’t high in fat like a lot of gluten-free food. Ingredients include maize, sugar, dextrose and salt.
Available at Tesco and some Supervalu stores in Ireland and in Tesco, ASDA, Morrison’s and Waitrose in the UK.
