I got this recipe from another mum and couldn’t believe the simplicity of it. This recipe is so simple that when I sent it onto my mum, she told me some of the ingredients were missing! It seems too easy. But they work out great in minutes and taste good too!
Buy a large tub of natural yogurt. I use Glenisk the whole milk version. Empty it into a mixing bowl. Fill tub up with self-raising gluten-free flour. Add a teaspoon of baking soda. Add in some raisins or whatever dried fruit you wish. Mix it all up together. The dough does appear quite gloopey but don’t let put you off. Spoon out the dough into 8 scone shapes. Put in oven at 200C for 15 minutes. Once golden brown, let them cool before eating them. Slice in half and put on butter and jam or simply eat plain. Tasty either way.
So easy, so few ingredients and they are really tasty. So incredibly painless!! I’m all for that.
